hi,

I intent to optimize an account and especially a display campaign by defining 2 conversions types

  • 1 for lead with cpa (form)
  • 1 for sales with roas (sale)

To track the conversions, i'll provide these campaigns with their own conversion page "thank you page 1" for lead  , and "thank you page 2"  for signing up  after payment (redirection from the checkout) . EDIT : I'll have to add also the complementary tag for retrieving the value sale from the order plan.

Do i need something else to think about ?

Tks for your advice..

Hi Garguier,

You have done well. You can optimized your campaigns in these conversion basis. Apart from this I would suggest track conversion through Google analytics and link your AdWords account With Google Analytics.

In GA you can define multiple Goal as well e-commerce transaction. That is very essential in your case as you are running campaigns for Online sales.

Here is the link that you can read about GA.

Tks Rakesh ..

I'd say that regarding Conversion, Roas and Retargeting, the best is to play woth adwords. For e-commerce, GA tag is also essential so as to any others micro-conversions but i think it's not safe to set the same conversions page with adwords (tag)  and ga (goal url) as it bring confusion in report and roi analysis.
