Conversions are zero

Hello,

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong to have Conversion results as zero (0) on Campaign report page.

I do have Conversion code integrated on "Thank you" page, and I do have created Campaigns. On Campaign report page I do have collected results like Clicks, Impressions, CTR, Avg. CPC, etc.

But Conversion results are still zero (0)...

If you can you help me with this please. Thank you in advance!

Hi iceN,

It sounds like you have deleted and recreated a campaign as that will start the data under the 'Campaigns' tab from 0 again, even if it's exactly the same.

The number of conversions listed under Tools and Analysis => Conversions => is the total number of conversions that single tracking code has registered since it's creation.

Try changing from "All but deleted" to "All" under campaigns tab and I'm sure you'll find that all the data will be there :-)

If you have multiple campaigns:-

Try looking at the 'Search Funnels' feature. This can be found at "Tools and Analysis" -> "Conversions" -> and on left hand menu there's a button called 'Search Funnels'.

Credit is only given on reports under 'Campaigns' tab for conversions that resulted from a 'Last-Click'

You might find your campaign has generated some 'First-Click' conversions but the 'Last-Click' conversion credit was given to another campaign like one for your brand name etc.

I'll keep an eye on this thread :-)

Hi iceN,

Welcome to Google Community!

Are you getting actual conversions but no conversion data in adwords?

Double-check that the code snippet you've added to your website is working properly.

Checking your code in conversion tracking.

Hope it helps!

Thanks
Brijesh

Thank you for your answers.

My code added on "Thank you" page looks like this:

<img height="1" width="1" style="border-style:none;" alt="" src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/1234567890/?value=<?php echo $charge; ?>&label=Conversation-Label&guid=ON&script=0"/>

Of course, 1234567890 and Conversation-Label are properly defined as Google asked. PHP variable $charge is also properly generated (checked that in html source code).

But I'm not sure that I was enough clear with my question... On Campaign report page Conversion results as zero (0). Is it possible that they are really zero for last two months?

iceN,

Are you actually getting any conversions?

I.e. are visitors actually reaching that "Thank You" after completing an action?

Is it after a contact form? If so, are people actually contacting you? =S

I would try running through the conversion process yourself and testing it.

I do get results under Tools and Analysis => Conversions => Conversion Name. Also I do get that only one page track conversions (https://www.mydomain.co.uk/success.html). That is page shown after end user make an order of the products.

But under Campaigns there are no results about Conversions (1-per-click).

Unfortunately, it was already adjusted to All
:-(

But you are right, campaigns where created much before I created Conversion.

I don't understand second part of your message... Can I somehow "merge" campaigns with conversions?

I noticed that in Analytics account, option under Data Sharing Settings "With other Google products only" where not checked.

Could that be a source of my problem?

Hi iceN,

If you don't mind can you please get us two screenshots:

1) Under Tools & Analysis Tab >> Conversions with date range.

2) Campaign Stats with Date Range. (Here I am looking for total section of all stats)

Please choose the same date range for both Screenshots. Also Please don not include any personal information such as customer ID etc.

Thanks
