Hi,

I am working on a Loan website(Domain 1). Where adwords lending page consist of a user Basic Detail Form. After user successfully fills the form and on submit button we call an iframe, calling form from another domain(Domain 2). On completing iframe form sucessfully. user will get back to same domain(Domain 1), where Adwords conversion code is placed through Google Tag Manager.

Now i m getting difficulty in tracking conversion. I doubt, it may be due to cross domain tracking....

Please advice how to set-up conversion in this case.

Regards,

Hi Mary,

iframes can cause issues. How I usually deal with them with regards to conversion tracking is through Google tag manager. I set up a click fire conversion point upon successful submission of the form. This avoids the domain switching issue.

Hope this helps

Haha, ok my terminology may have been confusing. that is just how I like to think about it. So apologies for my misleading terminology. What you are looking for is event listeners.

I had read this article 2-3 times. Out of all 6 Event Listener

Click Listener
Form Submit Listener
Link Click Listener
Timer Listener
History Listener
JavaScript Error Listener

Which event listener should i try. As i am not clear how these events i can use to fire Adwords conversion tracking code.

Given the details, I would suggest the form submit listener.

I have a had a quick look on the forums here and found a discussion on someone having problems with the conversion tracking and the form submit listener. Simo was very helpful and went in depth on the whole process. Perhaps read through that and use it as a trouble shooting guide.
