Conversion Tracking Friendly Label??

I have one question about the conversion tracking. I would like to know if it's possible to use in the snippet code the name of the label for example:

var google_conversion_label = "Purchase"

instead of

var google_conversion_label = "d2MMCKbo7AJDkqje3wM";

I'm working in a ecommerce platform, and for our clients it's easy to find the frindly name.

Thanks in advance,

Nope you cant change that. I believe that is an unique key for each conversion ccode.

You can set Conversion category as

  • Other
  • Purchase/ Sale
  • Signup
  • Lead
  • View of Key page

Hope this helps

Hi Belen,

Nik has this right. At one point, years back, the conversion labels were "friendly", but no more. It seems that there was a problem when 2 or more conversion actions had the same name, like "Purchase".

But this label only appears in the code for the conversion. I don't understand why that would concern the client. Does the client place the codes? Does the client have access to the AdWords account in a manner that allows them to retrieve the conversion code? If so, I would ask the client to log into AdWords and retrieve the appropriate code to paste in to new pages rather than look through pages on the site to find the correct code.

Just my opinion.

Best of Luck!
