Combining Adwords grant account with a paid account

Hi

I run a Google Grant funded adwords account and I see that I can set up a paid account to promote the same business (https://support.google.com/grants/answer/151343?hl=en ) for bids over $2.

Can someone advise if I can set up the second (paid) Adwords account through the same Google Account or does this require a second Google Account?

Thanks.

Hey Mark,

You do have to set up a new AdWords account if you want to target Display or any Search keyword with a bid over $2.00. The main reason is for billing since you can't update the billing in your grant account.

Hope that helps!

Hi

Thanks for your reply, but does that mean I can have two AdWords accounts
in one Google (eg markfreire12@gmail.com) account?

Mark,

No. You'll have to have two different Google logins. Best bet would be to create and MCC account then attach both of those AdWords accounts to the MCC so you'd only need one login.
