Login to your account and go to "all campaigns" - and the "ADS" tab should take you to the place you need to be.

Does this help - or have you already been there?

Plus if you mouse over your text ad there's a little box (top right) that has a pencil in it - clicking that allows you to edit your ad.

Hello,

If you are talking about simple text ads, you can follow this reference with a step by step guide and a video as well. https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722117?hl=en

Just to add onething here, editing an ad is more or less like creating a fresh new ad. So it is advised to either pause an existing ad and create a new ad so that in future you want yo use your old ad, you can do that by resuming it.
