Changing CPC settings from Audiences to Placements

Hi there,

I have a campaign on the Google Display Network (GDN), an interests based campaign. When it got changed to an Enhanced campaign (the new setting that Google issued recently), the "custom bids" were set to be on Audiences level (Interests). Now, If i want to change custom bids application from Audiences to be on Placements (that is, applying bids on placements level), what's the way to do it?.

I've tried to look at Adwords help, but all what I got was how to apply bids on each targeting method, but not on changing it from one level of targeting to another.

Thanks in Advance!

Hi Salma,

To set bids specifically on placements, you'll want to switch from 'Target and Bid' to 'Bid Only' within the 'Change Display Targeting' section of the specific ad group in your interest-based campaign. Once you have switched to 'Bid Only,' you'll have the capability to set bids on the specific placements on which you'd like to show.

Let me know if this addresses your question.
