We want to advertise our CSA for 2015. What is going to be the best category to both reach the right kind of customer and be honest in its placement?

Hi, I would suggest to split your search and display campaigns. You should target only the area where you want to do CSA (city or region).
For search use a keyword planner and find out the keywords that are connected to a CSA, and in display use those same keywords in positioning ads.
You should use the Display planner to find out the sites that are in this niche and after that choose those sites as placement for your ads.
And if you want, you can target audience with interests, but you shoul figure which interesteds are mutual for people who do CSA.

Sorry for this late reply. I did that part, but its the category area that I can't get around and perhaps categories don't matter much in google searches anyway. The market of retail produce outside grocery stores is still so comparatively small that I doubt it will be addressed anytime soon.

Thanks anyway
