Cannot access Adwords account from a client invitation

Hello,

 

I have an MCC account set up with several client accounts.  For some reason, when one of my clients send an invitation to my MCC email account to access their Adwords account, I get the following error:

 

The Google Account ppc@email.com already has access to an AdWords account (Customer ID: ).

 

I am logged in as pcc@email.com when I accept the invitation.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dan,

 

The email addresses used to manage via the MCC cannot be invited to manage an account.  If you've already agreed to manage/gain access to a clients account then you should ask them for their CID and link that to your MCC via the "Link Existing Accounts" button.  Once activated on your end, the client approves the link and you're good to go.

 

The invite process as you described is for single email addresses that are not currently associated with any AdWords Accounts.
