Can you change images in your display network campaign?

I want to upload some fresh images to our client's display network campaign.  Can I switch out the images that are already there with new images, or do I have to create all new ads to change the images?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Lindsay

In display campaigns, the images ARE the ads.
Also, if you want to replace the image ads in a campaign, AdWords automatically creates new ads so you're going to lose your stats for those ads anyway. There's no "replacing" or "editing" of an existing ad, even with text ads. If you add a period to a text ad, AdWords creates a new ad.

A little tip for you, use AdWords editor to upload your image ads: http://www.google.com/intl/en/adwordseditor/

It makes the process MUCH easier Smiley Happy

Sounds to me like you need to take down the old image ads and upload new ones. In your position, I'd use AdWords editor. Shouldn't take more than a minute. It's awesome!

Hope that helps.

What about when you copy a campaign and just want to update the image?, that can't be done as well?
