I am trying to create an ad for "retail scale" keyword but when I look at the estimate number of clicks I see 0. Why is that?

Hi Vladkryvdyk,

I am assuming you are mentioning here the estimated clicks in adwords traffic estimator.

The most important thing to understand here - these projections are just 'estimates' they are not accurate at times.

And the 'estimated clicks' data is influenced by two thing, the location you selected in traffic estimator and the Max CPC you specified. At times the initial max cpc that we decide may not be enough to provide clicks from the location we selected.

Find more information here.

Hope this helps,

Hi vladkryvdyk,

Welcomje to the community

If i am not wrong you are using Adword Traffic Estimator tool for getting your estimation.Regarding your query i will like to suggest you

  • To increase your Max CPC bid and daily budget(assuming that you have set up your target location, language & search network properly)
  • The global search volume of your keyword in exact match is pritty low. This may be an issue too.Google traffic estimator shows the result depending on the search volume of the keyword performed on google search engine.Try this keyword with different different match type (Like phrase/broad),I think you will get different result.

Just my thoughts..Smiley Happy

Hope it helps

Regards,
