I want to promote a personal web page of mine. However, it seems like I cannot use Adwords because the billing needs to be made to a company. Is this correct and if not, how can I set up the campaign as a private person?

Sure, you can setup an AdWords account as an individual.

The campaign, and landing page of course will need comply with Google's terms of service. Some business sectors are not allowed to advertise on Google, e.g. pharmaceuticals.  But most personally owned business related pages are OK.

Hi Charlotte P,

You have the option to choose the billing in the name of the company or individual.

So, you can opt the individual and continue to set up your campaigns.

Hi Charlotte,

You say "personal web page" - keep in mind that AdWords is intended for promoting services and products. If you are not selling either you may have difficulty getting your ads approved.
