Can I transfer my Google certifications from one account to another?

Hi everyone,

I passed both my AdWords and Analytics IQ exams in my last Job, but have recently changed jobs and was wondering if anyone knows whether I can transfer the certificates from my old gmail account to my new one?

Or do I have to retake all 4 exams again to get fully qualified?

Thanks in advance :-)

Hi @Harry W,

If the email ID which you used to take those exams was a company email ID, you must have lost access to it after leaving the job. And in this scenario, there's nothing that can be done. Yes, you will need to retake those exams.

However, if you still have access to that email ID, you can act on the suggestion of @James_Clemens. It should help solve the issue. Though, I don't think it will be an ethical approach. I am sure you agree why...

The best, in my opinion, would be to take those exams with your personal email again. Nothing to lose, you will be able to have an increased level of confidence when you pass those exams again and at the same time you might learn new things along the way.

All the best!

Thanks

Hi Harry,

You can visit Google Partners and log in with the old email, then click on My Profile and then click on the little HELP button in the upper middle (right of center) and use one of the contact methods shown. They will be able to assist with changing the email.

You will also want to unaffiliate the account from previous company if you have not already. Each account can only be affiliated with company at a time.

Kind Regards,

James
