I would just add to MosheTLV's answer that if you make changes to existing ads you will reset the data on that ad as if it is a brand new ad. So, your best bet is to create new ads when you want to change them.

Sure;
You could also have more than one ad in each ad-group. The system will rotate the ads, and will give advantage to the better performing ads;
