We are runnig adwords campagn with target location as India. Now we are planning to to run campaign for the location USA. Can you share some details things to be consider before creating a campaign.

 

Let me expain few more details, we are NGO in india running adwords with target locations in india. Now we want to target other nations(which google allowa to target) to run adwords. Can you suggest how to select the keywords, Ad text etc.

Here are some tips I have for building out a new campaign: 

 

  1. Go with what's worked: I would start with doing a quick invantory of how successful your keywords and AdGroup structure have been in India. Use this as your starting point for the new campaign. Chances are that keyword which performed well in India will perform well in America too
  2. Optimise your ad text & be specific: These tips are a good place to start for that.
  3. Organise your account into AdGroups: You can learn more about organising your campaign here
  4. Measure your results: one of the best features of running ads with AdWords is that you can measure their success really accurately. You can use tools like conversion tracking or Google Analytics to do this. Check out this article for tips on defining success for your campaign.
