Hello,

In AdWords daily budgets are set only at the campaign level, not ad group level as you mentioned.

Are your 2 ad groups in different campaigns ?

Hi Simon A,

Welcome to the forum,

Daily budget can only be set at Campaign level. You can not set budget in ad group level. When your budget is reached, your ads will typically stop showing for that day. How quickly your ads are shown during a given day is determined by your ad delivery option.

You can do one thing here,Create two separate campaigns for your adgroups and set daily budget accordingly:

Good morning.

In addition to the good information you have already received, I did want to 'warn' you that if you entered $20 or $30 in the "bid" column for the Ad Group, what you've actually done is offered to pay $20 or $30 for each click.

It seems you have recieved a lot of valuable information - its time to conclude and resolve basic query.

1. We can set daily budget at campaign level - not at ad group level
2. If you are looking to do things like - 20$ and 30$ for different ad groups - its recommended to create two different campaigns by limiting budget separately.
3. Be aware about - where's CPC Bid and Budget.

Hope your query is resolved.

If not - feel free to reply in this thread.
