CPM Bidding

I am about to create a campaign using cpm bidding as my model. As it stands I'm looking into using keywords and interests as my targeting method. With that in mind let us say that I placed a bid in the ad group level as $50. Does this imply that for every keyword and other targeting, I am willing to spend $50 each. Or does this imply that I am willing to spend such amount for the overall targeting in a collective way? Your response will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Joemil,

Welcome to the community. You set your budget at the campaign level. And at ad group level you decide how much are you willing to pay for individual keywords.

Hello Joemill,

 

The Ad Group bid represents the bid for the overall targeting if no other bids are used, when a click is obtained. If you want to bid differently for a targeting method you have to use Custom Bids , explained here :
