CPC- how is it changing ?

Hello,

I was wondering how many times the CPC is changing ?

And how the CPC is finally effected ?

For instance, I found keywords that had a CPC a couple month ago from $ 11,92.

Today I run a new search and the CPC is at $ 0,25.

Wow... can someone tell me how this is possible ?

Thx for any little help,

appreciate it !

This is the Adwords Forum for the Advertisers side of the platform. You may find more help at the Adsense Forum for you questions
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/adsense

Advertisement CPC changes each time it enters the Auction and the BID CPC is determined on many factors. From the Adsense side, their would be no graphs, or ryhme or reason for what you will be paid on a click from day to day basis. It depends upon what the advertisers are paying for the Click and the Competition that drives that click price on the Advertisement side of things.

There are certain industries that pay more then others, but most of the Big money is in Search and not so much in display ( which is where Adsense comes into play)

Check the Adsense forum for more help on your queries, they would be much more informed on that side of the coin..

Hope that helped

Hi Bernhard R,

Welcome to the forum!

CPC is calculated each time your ad get clicked & it completely depends on the Ad Rank. You have to pay the minimum amount to achieve the position in SERP.

Thank you very much for your info, appreciate it.

I guess there are always two sides to see these things. The Advertiser side (AdWords) and the website side (AdSense).

for Advertisers:
so the CPC is constantly changing, depeinding on the bids, right ?

But how does that influence the website owners (AdSense) side ?

For instance, if you do have a CPC from $1 at today's date.
This CPC value is also going to change for the AdSense, right ?

Is it like with stocks ?
Daily changes ?

If so, is it possible to see a graph ?

Are there any Video Tutorials about all that ?
101 lessons ?

Appreciate every little info,
thank you so much !
