Could someone please explain the specific cost of Google AdWords and then the cost you generally pay per click (CPC) - I just need a roundabout total of how much I will be spending?

Thanks (:

Hi Charlotte,

The cost really depends on the keywords that you hope to bid on. It also has a lot to do with your quality score, which is a measure of how relevant your ads and landing pages are to your keywords. You can read more about quality score, here.

If you take a look at the Google keyword planner, you can get some (rough) estimates for what your bids will be.

It would also be helpful for you to watch this video about how the auction works. Although you set your bids, the auction determines your actual CPC.

Hope this helps!
