Hi Akash,

Let's say:-- a user has to buy the "samsung galaxy s4 mobile" thus before buying the mobile, he read the review on the internet. so he uses the keywords:- like "samsung s4 features", samsung s4 price","buy samsung s4 online".

1.) so when user google with the keyword-samsung s4 features" and see your ads and click it. then he uses the keyword "buy samsung s4 online" and then he converts. so the keyword:- samsung s4 features is called assist click keyword.

2.) Now the user searches the keyword:-samsung s4 price and sees your ads but did not click, then he uses the keyword "buy samsung s4 online" and gets converted. so here, "samsung s4 price" is called assist impression keywords.

So its the user tendency to do some R & D before buying anything.

Thus the assist click and assist impression do not give the direct conversion but help to get the conversion.

So assist click keyword and assist impression keyword is as important as Last click keyword "buy samsung s4 online" that gives the conversion.

Hope you will understand the importance of these types of keywordsSmiley Happy

In addition to the excellent advice already received , I would sum up that this information helps you decide what keywords to keep and what keywords to bid higher on.

There is more, you should look at the "Search funnel report"/ "Top Paths (clicks) report" to see in what sequence of clicks your conversions take place and for what keywords. Here is an example from the help center for that interesting report :

and in here you can find more details about the usage of this report : link
