Hi

I have noticed that when you Google diseases / medical conditions, EG Diabetes, Crohn's disease etc, that Search Ads no longer appear for UK searches. Has there been a change in policy on this EG related to regulations around advertising of Prescription and OTC medicines?

@Paul R;

This is a very broad and complex issue. In general, if you promote a cure (i.e. A drug) this can be done only by an online pharmacy or a pharma company.

If you promote a medical procedure (e.g. a surgery) restrictions on the content apply.

There are several clauses  within the health care and medicine section of the Policy which apply. I would recommend reading them all.

Hello,

To follow with @MosheTLV above, if you talk about UK specifically, these are the details:-

Still this topic is pretty complex and varies from region to region.

My 2 cents!
