Advertising Same Domain in Multiple Google Adwords Account

Hello All,

This is my first question regarding the Google Adwords. One of my friends asked me this question, Can we advertise same domain/URL in multiple Google Adwords account?

This question is not about best practice or how to use Google Adwords.

Domain Adwords account is managed by agency ABCD under 1234 Google Adwords Account.

Now the domain owner hired another agency EFGH to run ads for the same domain in different Google Adwords account 6789.

On the above conditions I have few queries:

1. Is above scenario possible? if Yes

2. Will Google show two different ads pointing to the same domain at the same time or on the same SERP?

3. What are other possibilities?

Hi @Niraj N;

Simple answer here: No.

This would be a violation of the "gaining unfair advantage" clause of the Policy.

The rule of thumb is "one business- one account". There are exceptions, but they rarely apply to small-medium businesses.

Technically, Google will only show one of the ads for any search query. This was introduced a long time ago to stop affiliate marketers dominating the ad spots.
Businesses who try to get around it by using different URLs for each account risk having all accounts suspended.
