Hey all. I have two ads ready. Got credit on my balance and set the keywords. Also the location is set. However, the status is set to Eligible and nothing is shown. Is there a delay by the way in the stats?? Did I forgot something here

Hi Jello123,

Yes, there is a delay in reporting AdWords data--up to 24 hours.

Question for you: Is this a search or a display campaign?

If it is a search campaign, "eligible" means the ad can show on Google search only (not search partners) until the ad is approved.

If it is a display campaign, "eligible" ads will not show until they have been approved.

Best of Luck!

Pete

Hi Jello123,

If you created Adwords account just now by including these couple of ads, then you need to wait for sometime until your ads start showing. New accounts does take sometime to show up the ads.

Best way to look out for this is to run the Ad Preview Tool and see whether your ads have started showing or not.

Onething more your ad status is eligible but not yet approved. So wait for a while until Google approves them.

Hope this helps!
