We want to pay on successful conversion only.

Does Adwords have such type of ads?

How bidding is done for it?

@Sunny K U,

Yes, Target CPA is a power bidding strategy that optimizes your ads for conversions. That being said , (@Jon_Gritton still stands correct) even when using this bidding strategy, you will be paying on a CPC basis that will HOPEFULLY generate conversions within your Targeted CPA cost.

So while this strategy does optimize for your goal, you still have to pay for the clicks that generate or don't generate conversions.

I would recommend kicking off your campaign with a "maximized click" or "enhanced cpc" strategy before switching to CPA. The machine learning algorithm needs historical data about your traffic before it can self-optimize. Otherwise the bidding strategy will be slightly skewed. So make sure you have accrued between 15-30 conversions within a 30 day window (minimum) before launching that bid strategy

Hi @Sunny K U sorry, no AdWords doesn't have any advertising that allows you only to pay for clicks only when they are profitable, that's not the nature of advertising.  However, if you structure your Account carefully and manage it well, your entire Account could be profitable in terms of returning more than you're paying out.

Paying for successful conversions only - that's affiliate marketing. Get other people to promote your product, and they only get paid if they get conversions. Rarely seen in AdWords as Google doesn't like it...
