Hi @Curt H,

 

You wouldn't really add a photo your ad, but would want to create a display ad, which uses images (with or without text) as the content. 

 

Use image ads to attract people’s attention with color and pictures. This article explains how to create two types of image ads:

  • Uploaded image ads. Upload static image ads after you create them outside of AdWords.
  • Responsive and template image ads. Use templates to create image ads within AdWords.
