Hello Xavier A,

If I'm counting correctly, there should be 19 hours time diffrence. In Australia is 19 hours more than in your GTM location.

And if you're adwords account is set in timezon you mentioned, you have to work that diffrenece in your schedule.

So for example, if you want to run your ads in Australia from 9-5 their time, you have to set your schedule to +19 hours. So it should be 04:00-12:00.

Hope it's understandable.

Best regards,

Alex

Hello Xavier,

Welcome to AdWords Community.

Firstly, before you ask your Google Account Manager to change the Time zone of your AdWords account, remember you can only request them once in the lifetime of an account. If it is changed once, you cannot request to change them again.

Note, Ad Scheduling feature always takes the time zone of the account into consideration, So if you wish to target a region whose time zone is different from your account time zone then you'd have to counter calculate the time as per the target region and schedule them accordingly.

Ex: If I have an Indian Time Zone account and I wish to advertise in USA, then I would counter calculate the time i.e run my ads in the night, so that my ads are displayed in the morning in USA (Coz when its night here, its day in USA)

Hope this Clarifies.

Hello Xavier A,

Welcome to AdWords Community.

You got a lot of helpful answers already.

I would like to add... As you are in PST and want to Target AEDT Time Zone. AEDT is 19 hours ahead of your time zone. Hence, if it is your 02.00PM (11th Nov.) it would be 09.00AM (12th Nov.) in Victoria, Australia. Your 10.00 PM would be 05.00PM.

Thus, you can schedule your ads to run from 02.00PM to 10.00PM according to your time if you wish to target normal 9-5 office hours in AEDT.

Thanks

Hey Xavier

Welcome to Adwords Community.

To Schedule your ads correctly you need to change your timezone.

You can only do so by contactiong adwords team.

Click here for more info  - https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1704334?hl=en

You can go to this link to change your time zone -https://support.google.com/adwords/contact/timezone_change

But you can  reset your timezone once only, so choose your new timezone carefully.

Hope it helps.

Hi Xavier,

As mentioned by Eshan you may either ask your Google rep to change the account timezone or else you'll just need to factor in the time difference when setting up ad scheduling. If eventually you'll have campaigns targeting geos within different timezones you'll have to take option 2 unless you'll create an account per timezone....
