Sorry to be taking an angry mood on this. BUT!!!!!!!!

Created a new ad group, almost 2 WEEKS AGO.  All ad's approved and running.  Now today, I recieve a message that one of my new ad's have been disapproved...  Again 2 WEEKS LATER.  And geez the reason is that I had an " & " and an exclamation point in the same sentence .......  Someone shoot me for such an egregious act of defiance!!!!!!   Whoo......

Now I corrected the ad, Whoopie!!!!!!!!!!!  AND of course, there is now an "edit" all my stats for the last 2 weeks for that ad are gone.....  Really starting to hate $oo$le.....

Hey Key_West_Expres,

First of all - I must say that I agree with you - and it irritating - and I know that Google is doing a lot of efforts in order to make the "approval" process better....

I just wanted to let you know that you can still see the statisics of your deleted ads -

"Keep in mind: Once your ad is deleted, you won't be able to recover it. However, you can still review the performance of your deleted ad by selecting All ads from the All but deleted ads drop-down menu that's above your graph." Source

Have a great day,

Asaf

Hello Key_West_Expres; Welcome back! (It has been a while since your last visit - Hasn't it?)

I really understand your frustration. Your ad was probably sampled for a "manual" audit by a (real human ) Policy specialist.

As it stands for now, Google is insisting that advertisers are familiar with the Policy, before launching a campaign. I do agree that it is a tough demand . However, this is the requirement. (In your case it's "just" an ad disapproved. We have seen many cases of accounts suspended due to noncompliance with the Policy)

I wouldn't edit the ad and re-submit. I will take days. Delete it, and write a new one. Approval should be faster. (In both cases statistics is reset. However, you can still retrieve it.)

Yes, I'm aware that you can see the stat's from the "pre"-deleted stage, but now that ad has to start all over, gaining new statistics, when all the ad's were created on the same day/time for a reason.  To evaluate each other against each other, from a single starting point...  AAAAAAaaaaaarrrrrggggggggggggg

Yes, I understand that it was "just" an ad. I used an ampersand and an exclamation point. Do I get the choice of hanging or firing squad???
