Active Campaigns shows 0 but I have one

Hi,

I'm a Top Contributor from Blogger and have a question.

I started a new campaign this morning (UK GMT).

On the Adsense Dashboard it shows 0 Active Campaigns

Screenshot

However when I click on Campaigns it shows it as Eligable.

Clicking on my Campaign I see this

If I go to the Keywords tab and click on any of the Keywords.

I get this

The Displaying Ads never finishes loading.

Am I doing anything wrong?

There is nothing in the Alerts screen.

Hi DarkUFO,

The AdWords system is served by a number of computers located world-wide. When you create a campaign, it gets stored first on the computer to which you are connected. From there, the data is replicated to the other servers. There is a bit of a delay while the data is replicated.

When using the AdWords interface, you are not guaranteed to connect with the same server for all subsequent page views, and pieces of the page can be supplied by different computers, some of which do not yet have the replicated data. If you just created the campaign this morning, this could be what you are looking at. You could sign out and sign back in to see if the data has been synch'd yet, or I would wait until tomorrow to decide if there's a problem.

Oh, 'eligible' is not the same as 'approved'. When you first create an ad, it has the status of 'eligible'. That means it will run on Google search only, not on search partners or the display network. While it shows eligible, the ad is under an initial review. That usually changes to 'approved' fairly quickly on an established account. It takes 2 to 3 days on a normal bases, but I've heard of it taking up to 2 weeks in complex cases.

In the meantime, I would be more concerned with the 3/10 Quality Score on the keyword 'cbs news'.

Best of Luck!

Pete

Thanks Pete,

That's a really helpful and clear answer, I really appreciate it.

I'll keep monitoring it over the next week or so and let you know what happens.

Hopefully as you said, I just need to wait a bit more Smiley Happy

Thank you again.

Cheers

Andy

Hi Again,

My add is still showing as Eligable but I'm not seeing any impressions.

When I click on any of my Keywords eg this one, it says

"This Campaign is not currently Enabled"

screenshot

Is that a setting somewhere I need to enable. I've gone through the help and everything seems ok.

How do I enable the campaign?

Hi DarkUFO,

Few things which I could think of in your situation would be:

1. Daily budget. It might be possible that you have set a very low daily budget due to which the campaign is not showing ads if budget is exhausted for that single day.

2. There is a slight possiblity that your account has been pulled up for Manual review from Google's side. In that case, you will have to wait until review is complete and your ads are back on Google search.

3. You might also try running the keyword diagnosis and Ad Preview Tool for further investigation.

As Pete said, Quality Score seems to be a concern as it's poor ( 3 out of 10).

Just a thought!

Thanks Pankaj,

1) I'll try increasing the Daily budget to see if that helps.

2) Is there any way to see if this is the case?

3) Thanks, I'll take a look. In nearly all cases it says "Does not trigger any ads"

Hi DarkUFO,

2) Is there any way to see if this is the case?

You can contact the Adwords support and see what they have to say about your account.

Best of Luck!

Thanks I tried that but they said

"

Thank you for writing in to us. Based on your request, we are unable to
find any unreviewed ads in your account. This may have happened because
the ads were reviewed before we processed your request. If you still find
unreviewed ads in your account, then it may be because:

- the Campaigns and Ad Groups, containing the unreviewed ads, are not
active. We will not review deleted ads in deleted Campaigns and Ad Groups;
- the Campaign and Ad Group names provided in your request form do not
match the information in your account;

"

I don't know what else to do.

Totally confused at this point.

Hi DarkUFO,

Did you set up your account for pre-pay or post-pay? If pre-pay, did you make a deposit? If post pay, was your credit card declined or did you make an error? Check on your billing tab.

Hi Pete,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I got a free voucher/claim code from Google that I entered into my account and it seemed to accept it. It's set to Pre-Pay

Here is my Billing Summary Page
