Account problem

Hi there,

We have a problem. The adwords system seems to think we are crooks. This is probably

because we started two accounts pointing to the same URL. Both accounts were permanently

suspended. Unknowing of the problems with multiple accounts we started a third one to start

over. That too was immediately suspended before we finally found out throught contacts at

Google what was wrong.

 

We have just spent half of our annual marketing budget educating ourselves and getting up

and running with Adwords. We really want to make a serious effort with it and also help our

clients get up and running. Now we can't even reach the customer service since our account

is suspended. All our efforts mailing and filling out forms are bounced immediately with

automated replies from Google.

 

What can we do? We want to comply with Terms & Conditions and we are a serious web

development firm in Sweden. Now it seems were permanently out in the cold before we even

got started. Please help.

  1. On your first post on Wednesday you reported suspension due to billing; - Has that sorted out?

    That should have included some Policy training....:smileywink:

 

Double serving is a major violation of the Policy; Google is not willing to reconsider a violation of this clause,

 

What actions were taken to familiarize employees with the Policy- ensuring that repeated violations are avoided?

Thank you for your reply. Well remembered to connect this to the wednesday post!

 

We have learned that the two issues you point out are actually one and the same. The error message generated is wrong and points to billing while the issue is, as you call it, "Double serving".

 

To your question on what we have done to ensure this does not happen again: let's just say that none of us who are here right now will ever forget this. But technically what we have done is to appoint ONE guy to run our Adwords program to ensure that this will never be repeated by mistake. We have also put info about it in our manuals. On top of this: we don't desire to have two accounts. We just wanted to start over with a clean slate after alot of experimenting.

Now all that we can do is hope that we our suspension is lifted so we can get to use all this knowledgeSmiley Happy

Let me rephrase my last question: 

  • What actions were taken to familiarize employees with ALL Policy sections - ensuring that repeated / further violations (of any policy section / clause - not just double serving) are avoided?

We have made all employees concerned read through and accept ALL Policy sections to ensure that further violations are avoided.

OK; Let see what Google would say about this special case...Though, I would say "up front":  un-suspending due to "double serving " is tough.

 

Watch your AdWords email (the one used to sign in ) for a communication from Google.
