About Adwords matching plural keyword queries with my singular keywords

Adwords says that by default it will adjust let users find my ads even if they type plurals of my keywords or mispelled keywords.

So it is safe to assume that if I add room ideas as keyword, users will find me even if they write

  • rooms idea
  • rooms ideas
  • room idea

is this right?

Hello,

That is correct. You can focus on the main keywords and let AdWords system do the magic by showing ads on different variations. For more granular details, you can review this help center doc: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/6324?hl=en

Yes. You're right. And also Different Search terms matching your keyword will have different CPC too.
And thats based on keyword match types too.
Broad Match Keywords will match with synonym of the keywords too.

Hi HomeBA,

Yes, ads will trigger for abbreviations.
In all the keyword match types(including Phrase and Exact match type), ads will show for close variations also.

Close variations include misspellings, singular forms, plural forms, acronyms, stemmings (such as floor and flooring), abbreviations, and accents. So there's no need to separately add close variations as keywords.
