3 sizes for the GDN banners, would that affect the plan?

Hi Googlers!

I'm still fresh and new to the Google AdWords scene.

Just one quick question:

I'm currently only doing 3 sizes for the Google Display Network banners, would that affect the plan? As in the display planning campaign?

Thanks,

Sawn

Hi Sawn,

Well it does affect but its really depend on your business how it affect. different kind of website can display diffrent size of image ads, Also this depend on the platform ( Desktops/ High end mobile devices etc)

I suggest you read more about ad sizes here - https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722124#campaigns_adformats

Hi Sawn,

Welcome to the forum..

I will suggest you to create all the available sizes of image ads. As Nisal has already mentioned
some sites only have ad units for certain sized image ads, and you can’t access them and find out if they drive qualified traffic if you don’t have an image ad available in that size.

I will also suggest you to add text ad also in your display campaign because there are few websites and Google network sites which only support Text ads.
