I wanted to start using google and all its services. maps. adwords, etc. While filing out google my business, it said that icy account was suspended! I didn't even finish filling out the forms yet. I didn't even get a chance to fill out a google plus account!

Hi Spammy,

Given the industry and location, you'll probably need to go through customer support to get anywhere with the listing. Before you contact them, be 100% sure the information you're putting in the listing is 100% complaint with the guidelines: https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038177

I can't find anything that we would be in violation of. I tried calling
again today and no real info given. Just curious...why will google NOT
allow legitimate locksmith/roadside assistance companies like mine to have
a profile and or advertise, but allow 40-50 scam listing (belonging to
about 4 companies only) in colorado to be rampant on google? Is it because
the pay more. Try calling any of the "$15" locksmiths on adwords for any
city. All the calls go to the same handful of companies.

It's a shame...

Hi Spammy

Feel free to report the scam listings here - if there are a lot, you can always use a google doc or google spreadsheet and send the link to me directly via this form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScab-dFFGRhWPhz3YVjq9yk270A9PsTr4YIQ9uTkeowOemXnQ/viewform
I'll then investigate and if I can find enough evidence, can escalate it to Google.

You're not alone being frustrated with the cheap locksmith Adwords situation.

As far as your listing goes - can you tell me more about what was said? The reps cannot give you specifics, but they have been known to point people in the right direction. If they're not telling you anything at all, then there is something they can see on their end that is a red flag. It could be your account history, could be the website, the domain, etc. These are things I cannot access and Google cannot/will not divulge.

Include a screenshot of what you have been able to fill out in the listing and I will have a look to see if there's something glaring there.

Have you had a listing suspended before?
Do you have multiple listings either on this one account, or any others?
Have you ever worked with an agency that told you they'd get on onto page 1 or something along those lines?
And is there a reason you named your profile Spammy?
