duplicate listings

Somehow I have managed to create multiple (3) listings for my business, Compassionate In-Home Euthanasia. I think I have verified the one I want to keep. In addition, I have received reviews on the duplicate listings that I don't want to lose. How can I merge the listings under the verified one so I don't lose those reviews?

Also, I am still listed on Google Maps under my old employer at a different address, which is confusing because it is close to my current address. I have tried to remove myself from the business but my name keeps showing up on the map at that address.

Hi Laura

Can you provide Map links to the three multiple listings please? And a link to the old employer's listing please that shows you still listed there.

Hi PriyaC,

This is the link to the old employer's listing:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.5908464,-90.335451,15z
This has a review from a client that I would like to merge with my correct
listing.

I still have the duplicate listings under Google My Business but get a 404
error when trying to click on the links in a general Google search for
them, so maybe they are gone now?

I see how I can delete these extra listings from my account now but what
happens to the reviews associated with them? I already deleted one
(apparently I had 4 extra) but since they weren't "verified" it won't show
the reviews. I know some of them had reviews but I don't know which ones or
if I already deleted one.

Thanks for your help!

Laura

Hi Laura

Unfortunately your link to your old employer is not bringing me up any results - can you share the name of the employer here? That may be easier for me to look into.

Regarding the old / duplicate pages I think it is probably best to contact Google My Business support directly, just because it sounds like you've got a lot going on there and I'm not going to be able to assist as a volunteer.

You can contact GMB support via one of these options and ask for help in both the duplicate pages issue and also the previous employer issue if you'd like:

The link shows my name on the map in the middle at my old employer's address (8028 Big Bend). It doesn't even say the old employer's name (Webster Groves Animal Hospital), just mine. It says its permanently deleted, but it still shows up on the map & Google my business page. Do you know how I can just merge it with my primary listing to keep my review on there?

Thank you!

Hi Laura

When you contact GMB support, ask them to mark that old listing as permanently closed and to move the review from it to your new, primary listing. They can't merge the pages as they are for two separate locations but they will be able to move the review for you.
