Two Businesses run out of same home

Hello,

My husband and I both have our own small business that we run out of our home. Entirely different businesses. I have both on Google My Business and have verified both, but it is telling me to resolve duplicate addresses. There is no office with separate entrances - it's our home. How can I fix this?

Hi Linda

I found this verified Google+ page: https://plus.google.com/105753302357158597268/about for your husband's business.

I assume that is the issue rather than the fact you both have businesses at the same location.

I recommend deleting the suspended page from your (his) dashboard and finding out who has control over the above page. If you can't find out who has control, then you'll need to follow the steps here: https://support.google.com/business/answer/4566671?hl=en to regain ownership of the page.

Looks like I entered the wrong google+ page for Eagle Blasting. I meant to enter the one that you have. So it's his that you listed PLUS mine, at the same address. I don't know of any suspended pages. I'm not sure I know what you mean.

Hold on - I do see two for my husband now. Huh.... I wonder how that happened. I'm not sure what to do to solve it. I'll look around.

Hi Linda

Can you provide the 2 URLs for your husband's business?

OK - I found the other page, and deleted it. Thank you for finding that and pointing it out. It was under my husbands email account. Does it take a while to stop reporting as duplicate? I have refreshed and it still says duplicate.

Hi Linda,

Unfortunately deleting a page doesn't always remove it entirely from the local database - just from the owner's dashboard. That's why I wanted to see the two URLs to see if a simple deletion was possible or if there was something else that needed to be done.

Confusing I know, and I do apologise for that.

Can you please post the URL for the page that you've just deleted from the dashboard?

Thank you.

Ok, thanks for that. It looks like there's only the one reference to your husband's page now, which is good.

And it comes up in a Maps search and a local google search as well so everything looks fine at my end.

Is it still showing up as a duplicate at your end? If so, can you please provide a screenshot of where you see that. (You'll probably need to use a 3rd party photos site like Google Photos or Drive to share the photos as this forum doesn't handle images too well)
