Two Businesses at the Same Address

I have two companies that have two different organizational/legal structures. They share one address and phone number, but have different websites and services. One business is a non-profit organization the other business is a corporation.  They have similar names, but different services and products. I have one business listed on Google Business, however, I tried to add the second business to Google Business, and was unable to do so because they have the same address. The 2nd business was verified using the mail, but I deleted the 2nd Google Business posting, because it was removed from Google.  I read that the best way to get the other business added was through Google +  . Is Google + the correct avenue to have my 2nd business recognized by Google? It's all rather confusing.  Please give me any advice as to whether or not this is the correct way to move forward or if it is possible to list both companies at the same address on Google Business.   Thank you for your assistance.

I know it's been a few weeks since you posted here - is this still an issue for you or have you been able to resolve the problem?

Hi Mia

I'll need the both business names, websites and any Map listings you may have, in order to help if this is still a problem.

Hi Mia

Looking at the websites and how intertwined they are, it would be difficult to convince Google that these are two separate organisations / businesses operating out of the same address.

They instead look like two arms of one business - one providing a NFP service, the other a For Profit organisation. I recommend setting up the For Profit organisation using Google My Business, using the contact details and business hours provided on that website.

Hi there - I know this was posted a few months ago, but we are having the same issue of two separate businesses with same address and phone number. One is www.sdldelavan.com which is our lawn irrigation & landscape company and the other is www.jdenvironmental.org which is our asbestos, lead and mold testing/removal company. How would we go about removing the "duplication" since they're completely different businesses? Thanks in advance.

I had a air filter business and a wedding photography business at the same location. Different websites, phone numbers and actually one was my husbands the other was mine. I was told my husband had to remove his. Googler is currently going thru some interoffice disputes among specialists regarding enforcement of the rules. One may say something is ok while the another may say it is not ok. With no direct supervision it is like the wild west at Google right now. One person removed my reviews and another claimed he could not get the other specialist to put them back up unless my husband removed his business.
