Suspended and POOR Help from Google

I submitted my Google business listing back in November or December and each time I clicked the button to verify I was offered two options. I chose to have the postcard verification and immediately my account becomes suspended (and with no postcard forthcoming).

I've since had between a half dozen and a dozen calls with a Google "rep" who keeps promising to "try to fix it" with her team but just seems eager to sell me Adwords instead (her name is Vinila).

My permanent business address is at a large office building. There are several other businesses currently listed there on Google+. I've provided state securities registration information, business entity registration and other documents to prove the businesses permanent address. I cannot fathom why it is such an issue to get my listing posted.

Hi @Scott C

Could you provide some details please:

Business Name used, Address used, tel number, website and if you could provide a link to your sec of state business registration.

I'll have a look and see if we can get this sorted.

Hi @Scott C

Okay so I believe this to be the issue.

Someone at some point created this ( but not verified ) this business page for Green Lane.

The reason this was certainly created by a human, is because it is marked as a service area business ( not address listed, but rather service radius )

However, they obviously used the same address, which keeps suspending the one you are trying to verify.

So you need to claim and verify the already existing one.

Steps to Take:

1) Delete the one you created:

https://plus.google.com/106030998232285490512/about

Go to dashboard >> https://business.google.com/manage/

Manage Location >> Info Tab >> Close or Remove this Listing >> Remove

2) Go to existing listing ( still logged into your account )

https://goo.gl/maps/J24DgXjeB5E2

Select >> Claim this Business

Accept Terms and Conditions >> DO NOT VERIFY

Underneath is a small blue link >> Verify Later >> click this

Verify LaterVerify Later

When you select Verify Later, it will open the page.

The address should be the same, but you want to unselect ( underneath address ) "I serve businesses at their location"

Correct any other details, add images etc etc.

When ready select >> Verify Now

FIXED & automatically verified (I guess I opened the service-area account by accident at some point?).

Gosh - and to imagine after a dozen calls with a "tech" who couldn't figure this out.

Thanks a lot, Tim! You da man.
