Suspended Google My Business Page

Hi there!

Business name: Jenuine Marketing

Address: 3-2217 Marmot Place, Whistler BC, Canada V0N 1B2

Phone: 604.967.1987

Google+: https://plus.google.com/+JenuineMarketing (There is a duplicate page here: https://plus.google.com/101451444584679525928)

This is a home-based business and I service clients at their locations in the surrounding areas. I have taken care to indicate in the Google settings that I do not service clients at this location, but rather deliver goods and services to them.

I recently moved from Nova Scotia back to Whistler, BC and attempted to change the address. This seems to be about the time when the trouble started.

I logged in today and had a notification stating that "Your listing has been suspended due to quality issues."

I tried to Google my business and received a map result for the old address in Nova Scotia. It said "Claim this listing". So I clicked on it and tried to change the address, in the hopes of merging the two accounts or at least having one active listing. Now that duplicate listing is suspended as well.

I'd like to delete the duplicate account and unsuspend my original Google page account.

I am also concerned because I am a manager of the Google pages for several different clients and do not want to have my entire account suspended and lose the ability to do work.

Any help is much appreciated!

~ Jen

Hi Jen,

If I understand correctly, both listings are in your Google dashboard? If so, then I recommend deleting the duplicate page from the dashboard, so that although it is in Maps still, it will show up as unclaimed. Then contact GMB support: https://support.google.com/business/contact/business_c2c_l?rd=3# and ask them to remove that listing completely from Maps as it is a duplicate page.

With the Nova Scotia listing which is still showing (https://www.google.com.au/search?q=jenuine+marketing&oq=jenuine+marketing&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60j69...), simply mark it as closed via the Suggest an Edit feature in Maps.

Once these steps are followed your original Whistler listing should come unstuck, but if not don't hesitate to post back here and we can do some more digging for you.
