Suite letter not displaying correct

Hello,

First time posting but I did search for this answer and have not been able to find it.  Our business, Fuse Engineering, LLC, is located at:

325 Gambrills Road, Suite D, Gambrills, MD 21054

and that is how it is listed under our 'Google My Business' profile, however, on Google Maps it is listed as:

325 Gambrills Rd d, Gambrills, MD 21054

We are okay with "Road" being shortened to "Rd," but the suite does not look correct.  How can we change it so our customers see it as "Suite D" on Google Maps?

I made a correction to your listing. It is showing as correct now here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Fuse+Engineering,+LLC/@39.0722278,-76.6629697,18z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s...

Let us know if it doesn't stick.

Thanks for the reply.  I waited an hour and flushed my browser cache out, but it has not changed in a Google search or in the Google Maps link you sent.  It does look correct in business.google.com when I am looking at the company profile, but that was there before.  Could it be something else?

@Mike Blumenthal

just saw in MapMaker that your edit was deleted after few hours "by Google"

@Mike Blumenthal

can you please try approving my own edit regarding the suite number on "Fuse Engineering, LLC

@Alex W

have you specified the suite id as #D in your dashboadr rather then "Suite D"

You can do this in one of the additional address lines

@Helmut Geissler, thanks for your help.  I managed to change it to:

325 Gambrills Road, #D, Gambrills, MD 21054, United States

That shows up in a Google search now.  Is it not common for the postal address to contain the word "Suite" in it?  I have seen it both ways.

@Alex W

because I'm German I'm not that experienced using suite IDs

But I know from experience # is triggering it well.

Can also try  "Ste D" perhaps or "SuiteD"  (no space)

But @Mike Blumenthal is from the US geussing he knows it better then me.

@Helmut Geissler

Thank you for the suggestions.  "Ste D" reverts to "d".  "SuiteD" does work but is not desired.  A space would be desired.  I put it back to #D for now as that is my preferred available option.  Of course getting it to "Suite D" would be preferred.

@Mike Blumenthaldo you have any other ideas?

Historically Google has supported STE, Suite and # as ways to refer to an office or a suite in the US. If my mods didn't work then I was going to try # like @Helmut Geissler has done. What we don't know is if this is a permanent change in behavior for Google or just a one off bug. We will escalate to Google and see if the behavior is the new norm or a bug.

Google has internally added the word suite to your listing. Let us know if it doesn't stick.
