Sending customer a review link...why is this so hard?

I simply want to have a link to send a customer so they can review my business, but Google seems to have made it very difficult to do this. Once I figured out how to send a review link (thanks to a third party blog) I realised that if the user is not logged in, and I think it's safe to assume they're not, the page they get is useless: http://robinstent.com/gplus.png

Please tell me it's possible to send a link so that if the customer is not logged in they will get some kind of a clue how to leave a review. The link I'm using is: http://google.com/+vanoduk?review=1

@Robin S

several remarks from me (consider them as my two cents)

Google never provided a link like the one you mentioned here (http://google.com/+vanoduk?review=1

(I know that several users mentioned and used it in the past - but Google never confirmed it an official link)

Their official HC articles about how to review a business are  the below two links support.google.com/maps/answer/6230175?hl=en (for desktop)

and this one for GMM: support.google.com/gmm/answer/3137717?hl=en

This said I have an other remark about your business maybe confusing your customers (not only about reviewing you) - but it might make it more difficult to get you found if people searching you

There seem existing  two business pages for your business:

One is plus.google.com/+VanodUk/about and its the verified SAB.

An other is the unverified page plus.google.com/111617171025736285691

The only difference seems to be a spelling error of the phone numer:

plus.google.com/111617171025736285691 shows +44 117 320 7670

while plus.google.com/+VanodUk shows +44 117 230 7670 (230 versus 320)

if the second is about your business I strongly recommend to contact business support  to get it handled as a unwanted duplicate of your verified one plus.google.com/+VanodUk

Regards

Hi @Robin S

Just wanted to add to @Helmut Geissler's very comprehensive answer, that as a result of the new Google+ rollout, this type of link: http://google.com/+vanoduk?review=1 will no longer work for any local page.

Thanks @Helmut Geissler - that hack from Pleper is very handy indeed.
