Seeking assistance to clarify G+ and Business Page

 Hello everyone,

I need some help. I realized that Google+ did a lot of changes and I am at a lost. Our organization had created a Google+ page which our admins were able to connect to post items on using the page button on their private Google page.
I realized that this is no longer the case and we found our page using the saved link to it however, we are unable to edit it. Also, how can I claim this page and add it to Google business and have the ability to edit it?
I remember even last year we were able to do google hangouts using our page.

Business name: O.A.B.I.: Organization for Abused and Battered Individuals
Telephone number: 18687986185
Current Address: 5 Church Street, St. James. Trinidad and Tobago West Indies.

G+ Page which our organization created months ago: https://plus.google.com/+OabivoicesOrg2008

Our organization would like to maintain the above mentioned G+ page and link it to this undermentioned business page:

We would also like to delete the separate G+ pages which were created by this business page link below and the other G+ page listed in the explanation of the undermentioned business page:

Business page which was created in erroe last week and the G+ page which was created by it I would like to delete both this business page and the G+ page which it created: https://business.google.com/manage/#/acc/103776803488281887828/edit/l/9852243088803337060

Thank you for any and all assistance.

Hi @Sherna A

I cannot actually locate a live / verified business page.

Suspended / Un verified  business page:

https://plus.google.com/100524070603191601351/about

https://plus.google.com/113528070119583237592/about

Brand Page:

https://plus.google.com/+OabivoicesOrg2008/about

Personal Page:

https://plus.google.com/104002289006607925078/about

Are all of these in your dashboard ( the personal wont be):

Dashboard >> https://business.google.com/manage/#/list

If both business pages are in the same account, you will want to delete on, suggest this one:

https://plus.google.com/113528070119583237592/about

Then you will need to complete the verification for this business page:

https://plus.google.com/100524070603191601351/about

Once the business page is verified, you can then merge the Brand Page with the Busienss Page:

Hello @Tim Capper,

Thank you for the response and for taking the time to comment. However I seem to be lost. I received the verification code which I used and our organization page is aying published, however, it created a new G+ page and that page says business verified.

I tried following the directions however when I select settings there is no option to connect existing G+ Page. All our organization would like to do is the following:

Have one business page and one G+ Page. We presently have one Business Page as I deleted the other business page which was created.

We would like one G+ page which affords us the option to create post on that page and share information seeing that our old G+ page already has a following and a large number of old post and images of our activities we would like to maintain our old G+ page and have the verified badge placed on it and have the option of creating post etc as we were able to do before.

Business page which says published: https://business.google.com/manage/#/acc/103776803488281887828/edit/l/9852243088803337060

New G+ Page with verified badge: https://plus.google.com/113528070119583237592 (and there is no option for creating new post to this page either)

Our old G+ Page we wish to connect with the published business page: https://plus.google.com/+OabivoicesOrg2008

Business name: O.A.B.I.: Organization for Abused and Battered Individuals
Telephone number: 18687986185
Current Address: 5 Church Street, St. James. Trinidad and Tobago West Indies.

This is a bit frustrating any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi @Sherna A

This link is from your dashboard, so I cannot view :

https://business.google.com/manage/#/acc/103776803488281887828/edit/l/9852243088803337060

I tried converting both possible cid numbers onto a plus.google url but both are showing 404 ?

So this is your Business Page:

https://plus.google.com/113528070119583237592/about

And Verified Brand Page:

https://plus.google.com/+OabivoicesOrg2008/about

You can merge a Brand Page into a Business Page:

Googles Details:

https://support.google.com/business/answer/6010825

@Tim Capper

I read the information from the both links which you sent to me however I do not have the ability to merge or link pages. I did a short video showing you this which I am presently uploading to my drive. I do not have the option for pages on the left-hand side of my G+ account this use to be there a while back also the option for groups now I am not seeing it. I am not seeing the option for pages to move further with the directions in the links provided.

Another Version:

https://www.hallaminternet.com/merge-google-brand-page-google-local-page/

I am not even seeing the profile option to move on with the directions from the link provided:

You can merge a Brand Page into a Business Page:

Googles Details:

https://support.google.com/business/answer/6010825

The short video.

Bottom left hand corner >> can you switch back to Classic G+

Or use the settings Page, as per Google's instructions:

  1. If you haven’t already, create and verify a Google My Business listing  for the same business as your Google+ page.
  2. Sign in to Google My Business, select Locations from the top of the page, and click Manage this location for the location that you want to connect.
  3. Click on the three dash menu Three dash menu in the top left-hand corner of your screen.
  4. Click on Settings .
  5. Scroll to the "Profile" section at the bottom of the menu.
  6. Click on Connect a different page.
  7. From the drop-down menu below “Will be linked to this page”, choose the Google+ page that you’d like to connect to your Google My Business listing. You won't see this option unless you're the owner of the Google+ page.
  8. Click on Next
  9. Review the list of changes that will be made to both your Google My Business listing and your Google+ page.
  10. Click on Confirm.

@Tim Capper

I do not have the option on the bottom left to switch back.

I have been following those directions since last week, however, I am not seeing the 'profile' option on the left-hand side below the three dashes. This is extremely frustrating I may just delete all pages and forget about G+ or business pages.

@Tim Capper, I believe something may have changed recently in the Settings. Another person tried the steps the other day and had problems. I tried the steps myself to test and I'm not seeing the "Profile" section any longer either. I just get "Notifications" options just like the screen capture posted on this thread shows:
