Review received but not showing on Google search

The Kentucky Bourbon Boys LLC, located at 10504 Florian Road, Louisville, Ky. 40223, phone number 502.690.9506.

I'm not sure of our Google+ Url, I don't believe we have one.

It is showing that we have received a review for Google My Business, but that review is not showing up when I search the business and it comes up. It's still asking me to "be the first to review."

Please advise.

Hello Laura,

I understand your concern however most of the reviews on Google My Business Local+ Page take 24-48 hours to show up on your Plus Page.

In case its been more than 48 hours then you can consider that the Review has been removed for Policy Violations as per Google My Business Guidelines which you can read here

Their are other factors too which can cause a review to get marked as spam example if your customer has wrote a number or website an email or has used any special character Ex: @ in his review.

Now if you are wondering how will you get that review back on your page then you will need to contact the customer who has left the review and ask him to log in to his Google+ Page and Goto Review Tab on his G+ Profile. He should be able to see the review highlighted in Red and then he can edit it and fix the errors and post it again.

I hope this will help you understand the reason why you are not able to see the review even after getting a notification.

Thank you

@Laura H

its about this page and its GMaps listing

And yes there are no reviews listed.

Seems the one you are talking about got filtered.

There are lots of reasons to get reviews filtered.

Unfortunately, Google uses an algorithm to determine if a review should befiltered. You were likely provided with a link to this article by TC JoyHawkins: There's a list of probable reasons. There's no way anybody would be able to tell you specifically why a review is being filtered, especially when we cannot see the filtered review.
