Hi all - our small business recently had a disgruntled patient leave slanderous comments, but left more than one review under more than one user name that clearly violates the impersonation policy. Since they are not impersonating me, I cannot file an impersonation report (the answer that is the typical one found here under different threads). I have flagged the reviews multiple times, but have received no responses from Google. There are no obvious ways to contact them regarding their own policy violations in this matter. Flagging the post also gives no option for violating the impersonation policy...just:
- This post contains hateful, violent, or inappropriate content
- This post contains advertising or spam
- This post contains conflicts of interest
How do you report a post that violates the impersonation policy?
hi Doctor Y
I would recommend using the 'contains conflicts of interest' option in this case.
Google won't reply to a flagged review - if they decide the review is inappropriate they will remove it, but they won't tell you that's been done.
