I can not find a way to give a P.O. box as the address for Google to send a verification post card. They have an incorrect mailing address for my business and I want to put in the correct mailing address.

Hi @Gary D,

You have to use the actual, physical address of the business. PO Boxes are not accepted.

Kind Regards,

James

Hi James,

Thank you... and that's what I was afraid of... you see, this is Costa
Rica, where believe it or not, there are NO physical addresses. Everything
here is found by land mark. For example, the U.S. govt. sends me
communications to Gary Davis of Plumita Pacifica: in Playa Junquillal,
Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, Costa Rica from hotel Castillo Divertido 100 meters
South and 200 meter West, white house... try putting even part of that into
Googles space for an address!

I do appreciate the fact that you responded very much! So I'm hoping you
can help me with the following: I am on Google maps, no problem, but what
I'd like to do is put the name Plumita Pacifica on the map as some of my
neighbors have their names on the map. That's what got me started on this
but what stopped me was that in my Google account it shows my mailing
address as: Gary Davis Costa Rica and I can't find a way to access the
address area to eliminate/change it. And even if I could eliminate it, from
what you just told me, I'm in a catch 22. I need to verify that I am the
owner, which I can not do at present because they have no way to send me a
verification code.

So the whole point of my project at the moment is just to put the words
"Plumita Pacifica" on the map. If you can help me do that I'll skip the
rest of the frustration... have you ever wondered why an intellighent
company like Google doesn't have a way of completing their processes for
people who live in the many countries that do not have physical addresses?

Well... anyway... thanks again.

Gary

Hi @Gary D,

You are very welcome.

It sounds like you are in a fun and beautiful place where people do get around a bit differently from where I am, Florida (US).

Take a look at this, which I think does solve one part. I have also submitted your phone number to be added.

I do not think there is anything more I can do to help other than to wish you the best and happy days!

Kind Regards,

James

Thanks again James... I clicked where you indicated and a page came up with
Plumita Pacifica from top to bottom... so that's encouraging...

well... if somehow you talk to someone who knows how I can get Plumita
Pacifica in words, as you see some of my neighbors have, I'll be very
appreciative. In the meantime at least where I am comes right up.

And S. Florida is nice too. I've been there several times, but if you get a
chance you may want to visit my little piece of paradise!

Hi @Gary D,

You are very welcome. Things look good, as you saw already (and can with the screenshot below).

If I ever make it way down South, I will certainly look you up for a place to stay and a local guide.

Have a great week,

James
