Ownership Conflict

I claimed ownership of the business, Club Condell Park. It formerly existed under the name Bankstown Trotting Club. When I search Club Condell Park, only 'maps' information appears in the search result. Whereas, if I search Bankstown Trotting Club, my business appears as Club Condell Park on the righthand side of my screen.

When I go to MyBusiness, two iterations of the same business pop up. One verified, one not. I try to verify the latter, which is what I suspect is causing my problems, however, I'm told that the account is already verified, by me.

Any suggestions on how I could verify this business, which was previously known under another name, is appreciated.

Full business name: Club Condell Park
The business URL is
Current business address: 176 - 178 Eldridge Road, Condell Park, NSW 2200
Current phone number: +61 2 9709 2111

Hi Dragan
There is only one listing showing in maps, but you're right the second listing (unverified) could be causing a bit of grief.
Google shouldn't let you verify that other listing, instead you'll want to contact Google support and ask them to merge that unverified listing with the verified one.

Getting the Knowledge Graph to display for the new name will take a little work. Ideally aim for changing all references (listings, not posts) of Bankstown Trotting Club to Club Condell Park. Realistically you won't be able to do all, but you should be able to do enough that Google gains more confidence in the new name for the location.

Google has enough confidence in the old name to display a Knowledge Graph. Google does know the two are tied together, as it displays the Club Condell Park info display.

A bit of legwork tidying up references to the business to the new name will move things along in the right direction.
