Hi @Ron B

This is correct.

Business pages are moving away from the social element of Google+ to a more functional business information.

If a user wanted to read your posts they would need to be logged into Google+.

However, they still get all the business info they require in Search and Maps which is what Google is focusing on rather then Social

Thanks Tim.
I still believe we have technical issue with our business page for the reasons:
1. I can look at other business pages recent posts, without login
2. People can look at my latest posts on my google plus without having a user login (same account)
https://plus.google.com/+RonBAmiNY
3. You can still see our last post - posted May 3, 2014 - https://plus.google.com/+Newyorkcarpetcleaning/posts

I checked every setting, permissions and posts sharing (public) on our business page setting included my own profile
** The one thing I can recall is on 2014 we updated our suite number and the busniess listing needed to be reverified.

Hi @Ron B

Okay, I see what you mean.

I will see if our CM can shed any light on this.

Hi,
My name is Donna Le, I'm running the Natural Nails salon at 1155 Virginia Ave, Hapeville, GA. Recently, we received a very aggressive review on Google map from one of the client. Many parts of her review was not true. I've just posted a review to explain the misunderstanding and clarify our policies to the client. Why is it not shown up?
Can you tell how we can manage to address this issue?
Thank you.

you are not allowed to post any review for your own business - such doing gets filtered by their algos.
You instead are free as the owner of the business page in question to respond on the weird reveiw.
Since your business page isn't yet claimed by you you shouldn't hesitate to claim it asap

Hi @Natural Nails A

I see that your business page is not claimed or verified.

If you want to flag the review or respond to the review you will need to claim and verify the business page.

However, I don't believe this review is against guidelines

And I don't think it will be removed. Your best bet is to work it out with the customer and ask them to remove the review. The other option is to ask happy customers to leave a review which will push this bad review down.

Thank you! I'm claiming the page now. Thanks so much :)

In my opinion, reviews are sometimes unfair to the business. Positive reviews can only be achieved when the customers are 100% pleased with your service. About 80-90%? I don't think there will be any review. On the other hand, when you failed to give them your best service, they are ready to push you down. And in reality, you can not always please all the customers.

I have no idea with those previous 1-star reviews for the salon because they were accurate and we learned a lot from those incidences. But for the recent one, more than half of it was incorrect. I was just finding a way to spread a word about our policies to other customers.

That review made me sad but I will keep up with the business page to be able to mutually exchange with my clients.

Hi @Ron B

My CM has come back and they have no reports on this issue before, so there is no reference for her, apart from check your settings.  https://plus.google.com/settings?hl=en),
