Old reviews belonging to completely different business appearing on our newly listed business

 we recently invested millions in a twice defunct restaurant here in new orleans that is an historic icon. we have followed all guidelines given by a google rep: New Name: The New Feelings Marigny Cafe, Bar & Courtyard Lounge (old name: Feelings Cafe D'Aunoy), new phone number established along with the old phone number, we have even provided a proof of sale of both the real estate and contents. We have invested millions in rebranding, renovating and refurbishing, yet reviews from 2-3 years ago still pop up and reflect us as a very bad vegan restaurant!! this is hurting our business and unfairly drags down our total rating number. These reviews belong to Feelings Cafe D'Aunoy and in no way reflect what we have done. This is legally and morally wrong on all accounts!!! How do we finally address this issue once and for all??

the following is an example of the reviews we are trying to remove
ourselves from: this was written in 2014 -- actually TWO owners ago,
however as you can see the review is so horrible (as are many others)


t was my first time there yesterday(Friday), and inside was as cold as
outside which made me very uncomfortable, thought they couldn't pay the
heating bill or something. Their only offer of soupe du jour was couscous,
which I really hate, so we had to skip the soup which would warm us up. We
couldn't drink either since we would be driving later. So we had to wait
for a while to 'enjoy' that small piece of fish and boiled potatoes. The
waitress was as cold as the place itself, she got her tip of %15 though. I
was planning to propose to my significant other but I felt so intimidated
by people around us and the cold ambiance, we left right after we finished
our meal. All those dark colors and dim lights were far away from being
romantic, it just felt not right to propose in there. I was pissed off
because I was misled by the reviews here and on their website, I really got
disappointed. They couldn't even afford a piano player as they were
supposed to provide live piano music at that hour.

I believe oyu made a great job responding on all teh bad old reveiws as the listing owner like you did here: "Please note that as of March 1, 2016 we are an all new owner and management team and we assure you that a situation like this will never happen under our watch. Please come see all the changes we've made and enjoy the ALL New Feellngs! :-"

 

I don't beleive you could do it much better.

 

I have no idea whether Google would be to convince to take down the older reviews refering / belonging to the former management of the "feelings"

Do this during their weekly Phone Support Hours:
You can request in many (maybe not all though) countries a call back of experts of business support by phone. This should be possible on official working days and during their the day time only - try it from 9 or 10 AM until 5 or 6 PM
