Hi all! I received an email from google.title of the email was: Post updates about your business on google search. Its a free introductory service. I tried it yesterday but today my posts were suspended with a threat to cancel my account. Now Im scared to repost. Any ideas where I can see correct examples?

Hi @Scott W

I do see your post from yesterday here: https://www.google.com/search?q=SEW+Bespoke+Clothing

Did they send you a link to any specific guidelines for posting? Perhaps you used too many exclamation points. :)

@Mike Blumenthal wrote an article about it that you might find helpful here: http://blumenthals.com/blog/2016/10/04/google-posts-directly-to-search-feature-expansion-continues-n...

And in the article he does say "It would appear that Google only wants brand driven content and not commercial content. Explicit promotions and related content just won’t show."

Maybe Mike can jump in and provide more insight.

I think you are refering to the Post in Search.

Did you ask them which post?

If it is to do with the Post in Search, then these are the Terms of Service you agreed to.

You may want to read them again.
