My Google business is not showing up in my control panel

I don't know what's happened, but if I try editing an element such as an address on Google maps I get an email saying there will be a change made. Fine. Yet when I log into my account, no business is associated with my account. The other problem is the way Google is displaying reviews. It's quite damaging now. One review shows up as 3 separate short reviews on the map page until you open it and see it's from 1 person. Not only that, but Google is highlighting all the bad points in BOLD type on the preview page. I need to turn off my reviews and get control of my business page.

Hi @Claudia P

Can you go to your dashboard : https://business.google.com/manage/

And see what business you have associated with the account. If the business page is not in there, you must have verified it with another account.

https://plus.google.com/114866267676441722366/about

If you cannot find the other account, then you will need to request admin access again. The process for this : https://support.google.com/business/answer/4566671

As for the 3 parsed from 1 review, yep, its a bit of a pain, but it is as intended and not a bug.

You need to build up your reviews from customers which will in turn create different snippets and push the older negative review further down the list.

Hi Tim. Nothing shows up in the dashboard. I've tried all the email addresses I use, none are associated

"If you cannot find the other account, then you will need to request admin access again. The process for this : https://support.google.com/business/answer/4566671"

I'll try this again, but it didn't work

"As for the 3 parsed from 1 review, yep, its a bit of a pain, but it is as intended and not a bug.

That doesn't make sense since it's only showing 1 of 2 reviews, only the fake customers bad review. Once I get into my account, I want to turn off reviews. How is this done?

So I went to the page you recommended, these are my choices. Which one do I choose? None work.

Request access to own or manage this local business on Google
It looks like you've attempted to add a business which is currently owned and verified by a different Google account.
Do you have access to the account which manages the business on Google?

Yes, but I've forgotten my username or password.
Yes, but I want to manage it with a different account.
No, the business is currently managed by someone else.
I need help with something else

Hi @Claudia P

What do you mean none work?

Go to >> http://www.google.com/business/

The click >> Get onto Google ( Big Blue Top Right )

Enter the business name.>>

Select the Business

It will then say :

Someone else has already verified this listing

This listing has already been verified by another user. If you want to add this listing to your account, you can make a request that will be sent to the current verified user.

Request admin rights

Request the admin right >> you will need to write a message to the current "owner" of the local page

You need to go through this process. ( wait 7 days )

Now you can contact Google Business Support to regain ownership :
https://support.google.com/business/contactflow

Here's a few examples of how this process could go:

1. We look at the owner and see if they have been active recently - if not, we notify the user that we have unverified their page and ask them to contact us if this incorrect. Over 80% of these actually come back as mailer-demons and we immediately know the user is no longer active and can't transfer ownership, in which case we unverify them and let them know. In this case, we have an issue - unverifying a page means losing the views, posts and content that has been built by the current owner.

2. We reach out to the owner and they do respond and say "yes that'd be great, lets transfer ownership." We could help them through that process and also keep the views and social content provided by the previous owner (since they are giving that data to the new owner in the transfer).

3. If we reach out to the owner and they don't respond in 7 days, we will attempt to reach out a few times through different methods (email again, phone, website portal contact paths, etc) and give them another 7 days. If there is no response we will unverify the current owner and then ask the claimant to pin verify the page again - so that we can verify they are legit. Keep in mind the process takes awhile because we want to be sure the right owner is managing the page and to give the current owner a chance to reply.

As I mentioned, choosing "Request admin rights" gives me the 4 options below

Yes, but I've forgotten my username or password. Brings me back to my business email account which I am logged in now, so Nope
Yes, but I want to manage it with a different account. - Asks me to have the admin add me, Nope
No, the business is currently managed by someone else. Asks me to contact the person, again nope
I need help with something else - Does nothing at all

Hi @Claudia P

You need to write a message to the current owner. You then have to wait 7 days before contacting business support.

Please read my previous message on how the process will work.

The business is managed by someone else ? correct, because you do not have access ?

That's the path and the screen shot I provided is what I received. Doesn't look like this is going to resolve as I don't have any other email that could have been used. All we got was an email about waiting 7 days. I guess we'll have to request it closed and remove it off the maps.
