Main Google+ page shows one negative review we received, repeated three times?  Normally it seems a visitor to a Google+ page would have to click on "view all Google reviews" to read them.  Why would this particular review show up and why three times?

Google has an algorithm that chooses snippets that it thinks are representative of the typical experience. There is little to done in your case except ask customers old and new for reviews so that this algorithm gets a better idea of who you are and what you do.

I am having the same problem, Donn H. I have never been more frustrated. I have contacted Google themselves and they promised to forward it to a specialist team. I have responded to that email every day for a week. The other thing you can do is when you click on the link you provided, way at the bottom is 'feedback'. You can provide your feedback and then highlight the portion of the page that shows the review snippets. Maybe if enough people do that, they'll listen. The suggestions given here are of no use....I am not going to beg my customers to sign up for Google just to leave a good review. Besides, Google is so random that there's no guarantee that even if the review snippets would change for a while, that it wouldn't go back to the bad one!

You don't need to beg your customers. You should ask each and every customer to leave you a review at either Google, Yelp or Facebook and let them decide which is most convenient to them. Over the long haul you will find that you have received enough authoritative reviews that Google will rewrite the snippets. The reputation of your business is critical and it should be clear that asking support will not solve the problem.

I vehemently disagree. 1. Do not tell me how to run my business and what conversations I should have with my customers. 2. My customers are facebook people. I have over 1,000 fans and 104 reviews. I will not ask them to sign up for a Google Acct just to leave a review. I believe that reviews should be spontaneous. 3. The issue is not with me or my business. Google created the problem of reviews and snippets and they can surely fix it. I just need the issue to be put in front of the right people at Google but I can't get past the first level of note-reading people. 4. Today I spoke to a Google lady trying to get me to pay for ads. I directed her to my knowledge panel and she was aghast and said she would probably not stay at my resort based on the review snippets, nor would have looked further into my business.
