We do and that does make sense.
But when every other nation is represented (and Brazil as a category has
about ten sub categories) it is a tad annoying.

How did Welsh become a category in the first place or Nepalese?

tell me subcategories for Brasilian Restaurans being referrring to the severalt states of Brasilia I could not find such in categories_pt_BR.csv

it's IMHO a fault to have nationalizing restaurant categories

We in Germany have the bavarian category but no thuringia or saxonia category.

Having such categories makes (IMHO) sense only if worldwide is an certain amount of - let's say Bavarian restaurant - as there are indeed.

But are there worldwide Scottisch Restaurants?
